Unlike Leh & Ladakh, both pre-paid & post-paid connections work in Lahaul & Spiti Valley & Kinnaur Valley, but however only BSNL & MTNL network is available. Jio is working at a fast pace to connect these places soon. In place like Manali, Shimla, Mandi, etc. all networks work.
The network connectivity of BSNL & MTNL is also poor, intermittent and there is no 4G available in Lahaul, Spiti & Kinnaur valleys, at best you will be able to get 2G connection. Internet speeds are very low.
Inform your friends and family that you will be in very low connectivity area and they should not be worried in case they are unable to reach you. One should be mentally prepared for no connectivity when in Lahaul Spiti & Kinnaur.
